First Impressions

So far the story is really interesting. It starts out when everything goes down. Chaos everywhere, freakers (zombies) are wrecking society as we know it. The main character, Deacon, with his best bud Boozer and Deacon’s wife? Girlfriend? Not too sure to be honest. They are to get Deacon’s girl out of here because she was stab be a kid. That’s right, A KID stabbed her! We got to get to the CHOPPER!! The CDC kid tell us that only two more people can fit inside. I used Kid because he is a recent grad student already freaking out because he is brand new to the job. Shit is already going crazy here. Then, Deacon lets his girl go on the helicopter alone because Boozer is hurt and wont survive alone.

Gameplay wise, I really like the ability to transverse the area. I like the motorcycle mechanic including the fast travel feature. Makes the game more realistic. That’s the thing the game does well, it stay grounded and realistic. At first, I wasn’t enjoying it because I wasn’t use to it and my expectation of the game was different. I came from Ghost of Tsushima and Persona 5 Royal where combat is faster.
