FELIZ NAVIDAD mi familia!! Merry Christmas fam!!! Hope you are all staying safe and wish your family well. Hope you got the gifts that you wanted like fresh pairs of underwear and socks. God I could use some now. Half of my undies have holes now and I do not know know since I haven’t wore underwear since quarantine started. Might be from when I run on the treadmill. Gotta wear undies for that. I also found that Costco’s underwear are great, so soft. Anyways, hope you are all doing great!

Posting this on Christmas Eve because that is when we celebrate Christmas. Dinner at around 8 at my godmother’s house, do a brindis for being together, being happy and being healthy. It was nice and it is a damn shame that I will miss that this year. Thanks COVID-19. After all that is done, the family dance and drink the night away while the younger folks do the same or play games. Then at midnight, we will exchange presents to one another and spend the next few hours drinking and dancing. There was a time where it lasted well into Christmas day. But no matter what we always return back on Christmas day for the recalentado, where we reheat the leftovers and eat pozole or menudo. Hopefully we can all get together again next year, when we all get vaccinated and the virus is gone. Until then, stay safe, wear a mask and continue to social distance.
