This one is really different from my other videos. Before my videos were full Let’s Play, but now I am editing these videos. Making shorter Let’s Plays with my own flair. Cutting out low points and cutting straight to the main story, and funny moments.

First Impression

Alien Isolation is terrifying. They really nailed the atmosphere and feeling of iSoLaTiOn in a giant space station.

You got androids, Xenomorphs, and humans ready to kill you, but that’s not what scares me. It’s the random noises, creaks, and footsteps you hear that freaks me out. It’s the anticipation of a scare that makes me anxious the whole way through the tutorial. I don’t think anything bad happens to you in the beginning, but yet I was extremely cautious.

The gameplay is similar to Outlast where you do not have much to fight back with. The game gives you weapons to fight with but any sound will alert enemies to your location. Aiming is rather difficult as well so it pushes you to sneak as much as possible. Only using your weapons to possibly throw them off your trails. You have to get creative here, using whatever you have to aid you. So make sure to look around and grab as many materials as you can.

It’s a fun scary game. I’ve been enjoying the level design and seeing how there are many different ways to approach each one.
